About Us

GASS India works with the aim of empowering communities by providing vital services in the areas of Health, Education, and Livelihoods. Our pursuit of creating sustainable and equitable communities has been on since 1996 having reached more than 50,000 people so far.

Our work is inspired by the idea that every human has right to a dignified life and the same needs to be ensured irrespective of external environment. This belief has led us to work with some of the most marginalised and vulnerable communities in our operational area. Over the years, depending on the needs of the communities we have scaled, expanded, rationalised and re-worked our program strategy and continue to do so with the single guiding light that is the welfare of those we serve.

We believe every community deserves dignity, opportunity, and a voice in shaping its future.

Our Vision

  • Marginalised groups are empowered with equal opportunities, justice, peace, and dignity, and their human rights are fully respected and protected.

  • Resources are shared equitably, enabling everyone to meet their needs and live with security and well-being.

  • All individuals are able to participate fully in mainstream society and lead a meaningful, high-quality life.

Our Mission

  • Empower marginalized communities, especially women, children, persons with disabilities, and senior citizens, by upholding their rights and dignity.

  • Improve access to education, livelihoods, and social security to support self-reliance and better living standards.

  • Promote inclusive, community-led development with equitable access to government services and benefits.
